What is BuffIt and why should I use it?

BuffIt is Germany's specialist for buffet and all-you-can-eat discovery. We combine verified restaurant data with live availability, Google reviews and community recommendations so you can find the right restaurants faster, whether you are looking for XXL schnitzel, vegan AYCE options or breakfast buffets with kids pricing.

How do filters and tags work?

Our filter search lets you narrow down buffets by cuisine, price, city, family-friendliness, events and more. Tags come from a combination of restaurant data, chatbot descriptions and community suggestions. The chatbot can help you find suitable filters and send direct links on request.

Will I get notifications about new deals?

Signed-in foodies can save restaurants as favorites, enable notifications and subscribe to newsletters for specific regions. We are also working on push notifications and PWA features so you do not miss any deal.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We only store necessary information, offer GDPR-compliant opt-ins, transparent tracking and you can delete your data at any time. Our systems run on hardened servers, are audited regularly and the chatbot masks sensitive data automatically.

How can I present my restaurant for free?

Register, verify your restaurant and use the dashboard. You can manage core data, create events, publish special offers and now upload a main photo even without a premium photo campaign.

How are reservation clicks counted?

BuffIt counts at most one reservation click per restaurant, user, device or IP within a 45-minute window. We check the verified user ID first, then the current device session and finally the IP address. Follow-up clicks within that period are merged into the existing measurement so fast double clicks or tests do not inflate the statistics. After 45 minutes a new window starts automatically and new reservation attempts are counted again.

What advantages does the advertising system bring?

Campaigns help you control visibility, premium photos, social-style placements and targeted re-engagement messages. You can see live how many guests you reach, which offers perform well and adjust budgets at any time.

Do I have to pay for photos?

For a professional photo feature with gallery and multiple motifs, you need a premium photo campaign. However, you can now upload or replace a single main photo for free to improve your profile before investing in advertising.

How does the chatbot support me as an operator?

Our assistant answers questions about data maintenance, creates offer texts, explains marketing funnels and shows how to set up campaigns. Through the new FAQ signal you can send questions directly to the bot and reuse the answer.

Is the BuffIt chatbot compliant with EU law and is it real AI?

Yes. The bot only processes approved data, stores conversations in pseudonymized form and follows our GDPR-compliant deletion concept. Responses are generated through an AI language model with human monitoring and safety guidelines, not static scripts.

Can I integrate BuffIt into my existing website or booking systems?

Yes. We are working on embeddable widgets, lead routing to OpenTable or TheFork and an API for partners. Through the dashboard you can already create redirect links and see in analytics how many guests switch to external portals.

Is there a mobile app or PWA?

BuffIt currently runs as a responsive web app. An installable PWA with offline mode, push notifications and app-store presence is planned. The FAQ keeps you updated and the newsletter announces the launch.

What does the roadmap for analytics and monetization look like?

In the short term we are expanding the dashboard with conversion funnels, campaign comparisons and export features. At the same time we are testing paid listings, memberships and premium slots, always transparently and cancellable.
